The Federation of Gay Games announced today Cologne, Germany, as the prospective Host City for Gay Games VIII in 2010.

LGBT UK Sports Summit, Manchester, Saturday June 14.
The aim of the Summit is to get LGBT sports organisers from around the UK together to network, find ways of working together in the future, influencing the inclusion agenda in mainstream sport and combating homophobia in sport. Some places at the event will be reserved for mainstream sports organisers, who are working on LGBT inclusion in sport, but this is mainly an event for the UK's LGBT sports community.
The event is free to all participants and supported by Manchester City Council. A maximum 80 places are available to LGBT sports organisers. Places will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.
There will be a drinks reception for the Summit in Manchester's Gay Village during the Saturday evening, which will provide an opportunity for delegates to socialise and network on a more informal basis. We are also able to provide some hosted accommodation.
