Open athletics is an organisation for the promotion and development of LGBT athletics in the broadest sense - including track and field, fell and trail running, and race walking. website: wwww.openathletics.org As a network, we are engaged in three types of activities: (1) LGBT athletics development: T&F, fell/treck running, triathlon, race walking. (2) Equality policy in sport and (3) Research on homophobia in sport As separate athletics groups, we organise training sessions locally as well as regular competitions and meetings. We aim to be a forum and a network of individual LGBT athletes, groups and clubs across the UK - in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Lancaster, Brighton, North Wales.
