still up to date. Pink Jukebox was founded in 1996. It is a Ballroom & Latin dance club for lesbians & gay men which hosts the London Open Championships, an International competition for same sex couples, held annually since 1998 at the Rivoli Ballroom. website: www.pinkjukebox.co.uk
The Pink Jukebox is a dance club for lesbians & gay men & their friends. It's new venue is in the basement at "Auberge" in Tooley Street, opposite London Bridge station. The Club usually meets on the second & fourth Sunday of the month & is for both beginner & experienced Ballroom & Latin dancers. Tuition is offered followed by a social dance
It is a great place to meet new people, learn a few dances & listen to a great selection of original music covering the last 70 years. See the website for the latest information. On the third Saturday in February each year, the Pink Jukebox also hosts the 'Pink Jukebox Trophy', an International Dance Competition for same sex couples, in which there are opportunities for all levels of dancer to compete. The Rivoli Ballroom is the glamourous venue for this event. Details of the Pink Jukebox Trophy are on the website. Some of the more experienced dancers form The Pink Dancers.
