A football club for the LGBT community and their friends, playing friendly and competitive games website: www.birminghamblaze.co.uk Set up in the summer of 2005, the Birmingham Blaze are the newest addition to the world of gay football in the UK! We attract players from not just Birmingham but all over the West Midlands. Our debut was at the Leicester Wildecats 5-a-side tournament in September 2005 and the club has proved so popular we were able to play our first 11-a-side friendly against the London Leftfooters in October. We meet on Sunday afternoons to train and then head off to the pub - the social aspect is just as important as the football!
