English Bay Triathlon Club

The English Bay Triathlon Club (EBTC) promotes and supports participation in triathlon in an inclusive, supportive and non-intimidating environment. Our membership is drawn from lesbians, gay men, and friends in the Greater Vancouver community. We are about having fun and enriching life by encouraging all to achieve their personal best in fitness and multi-sport.

EBTC is operated as a not-for-profit organization by a volunteer board of directors. We are affiliated with Triathlon BC, the regional Triathlon
governing body, and also have strong ties to English Bay Swim Club and Vancouver Front Runners.

Our training season runs from February to June of each year.

Training activities such as group rides and bike skill clinics are are posted on our web site. In addition, members are encouraged to identify their race goals, and share travel and lodging arrangements to attend races.

Members of the EBTC also organize the Lees Trail Triathlon, a fun, non-competitive mini-triathon held annually at Second Beach in Stanley Park.
